Fresh air

The winters are full of re-circulated air and stuffiness, and it's hard to get the babies outside while they can't walk yet, and can't stay in the sled without being duck-taped on, so we took advantage of having a clear deck late in december. Chilly, but beautiful!

Steps -trials and errors

We are so blessed with this home. As I sit and type, it's well below freezing outside, I hear my daughters 'talk' to each other in the next room, and down the hall, we've got a well stocked kitchen. While it has a quirky wiring system, and tempramental thermostat, one of the nice things is it's a one story building. This means I don't have to worry about the babies falling down stairs, but it also means that they haven't learned how to do steps. Sooo... we venture to our new church building to give them some practice, and an hour of fun!
Literally, and hour of this - you wouldn't believe how many times toddlers can go up and down (while picking up quite a few bruises along the way!

Learning the wrong way... and the right way!
And to finish it off, peek-a-boo around the pulpit!

Books, books and more books!

Emma loves to 'read'. She gravitates towards books, and often I find her pulling books off the shelf, even my medical texts that weigh more than she does! I'm not sure about those pictures, though!
Sammi, on the other hand, is more of a 'dog' person...

play for kids?

Our new favorite place? The children's museum, although I'm not sure who had more fun!

What are you doing, dad?!?!? Francis putting on a play :)

Shopping

Should I be afraid, or eager to capitalize on this? I'm picturing two teenaged girls... any suggestions, mom?
