During a rousing game of tag, the first pileup of the week happened. 4 little adorable girls were hobbled to the kitchen to be patched up, and sent outside for some "Goldfish cracker medicine."
The pictures don't do it justice, but Sami's got quite the conk. She kissed the pavement with her head as her hands were being held, so nothing broke her fall. :( She's a little trouper, and got a little annoyed with me as I tried to wake her up to check her cognitive status!
But it was a good turnout. I'm a little amazed that the kids came back, and even were excited about it! One girl's mom told her to count to 10,000 after repeatedly asking "How many more hours?". It's basically a VBS in your front yard, and it's fun to get the neighbours out, and get some funny looks as I'm dressed in a turtle costume :)
And the kids get to hear about Jesus! They get to memorize and sing, and we develop relationships with parents and neighbours. These are the best parts. Please pray for these contacts we have! It's exciting stuff!
