Babies!!

We just got back from another ultrasound... last guestimate: Uz is 5 lbs, 10 oz, while Buz is 5lbs, 12 oz. Oh, and yes, we have 'named' them... Genesis 22 :)

Well, here we are! 34 3/7 weeks pregnant with twins, 11 days away from our 2 year anniversary of being in Grand Rapids, 4 months away from being greencard-holding residents of the United States of America (D.V.) and 9 weeks away from butchering our chickens. In some ways, our journey began long ago, and in some ways, it's just about to begin. Throughout this journey, despite the challenges and the joys, we give praise to our Heavenly Father, who called us to this journey before we were even born. Our wedding text was Psalm 121, also called "The Travellers Song" and this is where our comfort lies. Because we know that this journey will be perilous at times, and difficult, yet we know that God is God, and He will keep us in his hand. Hallelujah!

I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you-- the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
